The story
We bought a wreck and kept the good parts
The Airstream had no floor and a family of raccoons when we found it behind a feed store in 1962. The griddle came out of a diner that closed the same week. Neither has been replaced since.
We make the root beer ourselves, in a barrel, from a recipe nobody outside the family has read. It goes into a mug that lives in the freezer. That is the whole idea.
